Event: Exhibition for Refugees@Home

Wakefield Cathedral have asked us to share some information for those interested in this invaluable network.

“From Tuesday 6th October to Sunday 11th October, Wakefield Cathedral will be hosting the 10th Anniversary Exhibition by Refugees@Home, a charity which brings together hosts across the country with refugees in need of short-term emergency accommodation.

The exhibition features photographs of hosts alongside short written reflections about why they choose to open their homes to refugees.

We would also be delighted to welcome members of the network to Evensong at the Cathedral on Wednesday 7th October, when we will pray for refugees and for the organisations across our District which work to welcome and support them.

Visitors are warmly invited to arrive from 17:00 to view the exhibition, with Evensong beginning at 17:30.”
